Returns and Withdrawal

Which items you can return, which you cannot — and why.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Two kinds of item, two rules

The right of withdrawal applies to items marked "Selected" in the catalogue — that is, items we source rather than make — and runs for 14 days from delivery. Items marked "Made in our workshop" are manufactured to the consumer's own specification and therefore fall outside the right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Regulation; on those, dimensions, material and colour are confirmed in writing before the order is placed.

The distinction is not hidden in the catalogue: every card and every product page says either "Made in our workshop" or "Selected". You see which rule applies before you order.

How to withdraw

  • Within 14 days of delivery, tell us in writing at the email or telephone below. No reason is required and no penalty applies.
  • Send the item back with its box, its accessories and the invoice copy if you have one, unused and in a resaleable condition.
  • We refund your payment within 14 days of your notice reaching us.

The cost of returning it

If the return goes back with the carrier named in the order confirmation, we bear the cost. If you choose a different carrier, you bear it.

When there is no right to withdraw

  • Workshop pieces made to your dimensions, your material and your colour — they cannot be sold to anyone else, because they were made to your wall.
  • Items whose packaging has been opened and which have been used or damaged.
  • Neither removes your rights over defective goods. If an item is faulty — workshop-made or not — your right to repair or replacement stands.
